WHO: Ages 15 and under will start on our Preparatory team. Prep team members can use 1 of 10 team paintball guns to practice. The paintball guns will be shared amongst team members. Team members are required to purchase their own paintballs for use at practice from Action Town Park. No outside paintballs are allowed.

Any players 16+, family members, or friends will be part of our "Division 5" beginner team if they want to play tournament paintball. Any player 16+ can also play in Arkansas High School Paintball.

As we grow, we will maintain entry level competition. This is one of the few sports your whole family can compete with together.

WHERE: Practices will be held at Action Town Park located South of Mayflower, AR.

WHEN: Practices are scheduled once a month minimum unless tournament schedules interfere. Tournaments will be attended as parents and kids are available. There is not a negative stigma if unable to attend practices/events.

HOW: One professional player as Head Coach of the Hornets.
Head Coach Andrew Wyatt, formerly of San Diego Aftermath, will run Hornets practices while Coach Darran McEuen will be team manager and will coach the Preparatory team.

COST: Your first practice will only require purchasing of paint. Future practice and coaching will require a Team Membership. Team membership requires a $30/year rostering fee that is good for the remaining calendar year. Rostering grants access to paint discounts, gear discounts and other benefits. You will need to purchase paint from the field when you arrive. A roster of members in good standing is given to Action Town Park.

After your player turns 16, they will need to purchase their own membership from Action Town Park or pay full entry and air pricing for every practice.
​
GEAR: We have supporting companies that will help reduce the cost of gear once your child is rostered. You can purchase gear for your child as your budget allows. We focus on Gun, Hopper, Mask, Tank as the four most important purchases. Team members have access to AYP's team Paintball Guns for practice and local tournaments. To attend a non-local event players are required to purchase a team jersey and pants, as well as have all other necessary gear besides a paintball marker, hopper and air tank.
